On a beautiful autumn day, filled with the warmth of community and love for Georgia, we gathered to celebrate a cherished tradition at the Churchkhela Workshop. The air was alive with joy, laughter, and the enthusiasm of our young students as they embraced the art of creating Churchkhela - one of Georgia’s most beloved treats. Under the gentle guidance of their teachers, and with the support of their extraordinary parents and friends, the children took pride in crafting each Churchkhela, threading walnuts and dipping them into luscious grape juice to create this iconic delicacy. Witnessing their hands at work, and the smiles of achievement on their faces, was a true expression of happiness and cultural connection.
This day wasn’t just about making a traditional treat - it was about fostering a deeper bond between the younger generation and their Georgian heritage. The joy and excitement of the children as they participated in this hands-on experience left a lasting impression on everyone involved, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.
We extend our heartfelt thanks and deepest gratitude to EK Law Office, PLLC for their generous gift of “Deda Ena” and Calligraphy notebooks for our students. These thoughtful contributions played a vital role in nurturing our children’s connection to the Georgian language and culture, serving as tools for their continued learning and growth.
A special thank you to Lina Mosashvili Photography and Madlena Shonia for capturing the magic of the day through their incredible photography. Your work allows us to preserve and share these moments of joy, cultural pride, and togetherness.
It was truly a day to remember - celebrating tradition, community, and the next generation’s love for Georgia.
