On February 7th, 2023, the Georgian Heritage Foundation had the distinguished honor of hosting Erika Olson, who, at the time, oversaw U.S. policy for Southern Europe and the Caucasus. Olson previously guided U.S. participation in NATO and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) as the Director for Regional Political-Military Affairs in Europe.
During a town hall with Olson and members of the Georgian diaspora, we engaged in an open dialogue on four key areas central to Georgian-American relations:
Democracy
Defense and Security
Economic, Trade, and Energy Issues
People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges
We are deeply grateful to all who attended and contributed to the discussion. Your presence and active participation are crucial as we continue building a strong, united Georgian diaspora. At the Georgian Heritage Foundation, we remain committed to providing a platform for open conversations, fostering collaborative initiatives, and serving as a resource for Georgians and friends of Georgia alike.
